A little about me

The power of plants to support our health has always fascinated me. Did you know that at least 70 percent of all new drugs introduced in the United States in the past 25 years come from nature? So, it wasn’t a big leap to learn that plants are powerful supporters of our skin too.

A Herbal Medicine course revealed the power of the beautiful herbs and flowers growing right in my backyard. A Diploma in natural skincare formulation gave me the expertise to harness that power, transforming it into exquisite creams and lotions that worked magic on my skin.

I’ll never forget the day I realised how wonderfully soft and smooth my face had become. For days I couldn’t stop touching my skin! My hands, once dry and uncomfortable, now also felt soft, nourished and moisturised.

Then, my mother’s extremely sensitive skin responded better to my creams than to almost every other skincare line she had tried. This inspired me to offer skincare to some of my friends, who also loved what I made and wanted more, and so Power of Plants Skincare was born.
